What we do

We perform our mission in a variety of ways, from developing software and technology solutions for care coordination, to performing data analytics on large diverse datasets for identifying super utilizers, to setting up intervention programs and care plans for clients enrolled in the intervention program.

Position: Customer Relations and Support Specialist

Location: Houston, Texas

Patient Care Intervention Center (PCIC) is a non-profit social enterprise leveraging technology, health data, and public health best practices to integrate medical, social, and behavioral health through a comprehensive platform approach. Our mission is to improve quality and costs for the vulnerable in our community through data integration and care coordination.

As a Customer Relations and Support Specialist, you will play a key role in coordinating projects and programs with internal and external stakeholders, and in marketing with potential partners. We expect you to think outside the box in developing solutions to problems and work within a dynamic, collaborative, and ego‐free culture where your talent and ideas are valued over a role or title. Responsibilities for Customer Relations and Support Specialist

  • Primary point of contact for end-user application support, including management of PCIC’s support portal and ticketing system.
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Facilitate customer projects, serving as a convener and communicator.
  • Conduct product training sessions with customers.
  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements.
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and provide clear feedback to clients while solving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and community outreach team to present the product to future partners.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience utilizing JIRA platform to track and manage projects.
  • Experience with Agile or iterative development SDLC practices.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in project coordination.
  • Experience in customer support and relations management.
  • Experience in the Health IT and social services domain.

PCIC envisions a coordinated health safety net where all stakeholders share data to achieve better system-wide outcomes.

Technology plays a critical role in helping us realize our mission: PCIC’s proprietary web-based electronic health record software facilitates compassionate patient care and is constantly undergoing feature updates through a rapid iterative prototyping cycle. Patient data from the health record complements multiple community-wide databases as well as publicly available databases to assist stakeholders in making more informed decisions when serving their clients and identifying collaboration opportunities.
